Build in 1925 and completed in Oct, 1928, Hong De Church is the only one church with the appearance of Chinese Palace in Shanghai. It got the name “Hong De Church” in honor of George Field Fitch (Fei Qihong), the person in charge of the American Presbyterian Mission Press.

鸿德堂始建于1925年，1928年10月落成，系长老会沪北堂的新堂。是上海唯一一座具有中国宫殿式外形的教堂，内部具有西式风格，堪称中西合璧。为纪念美华书馆负责人费启鸿，取名“鸿德堂”。1992年，该堂恢复开放，现为景灵堂分堂。1994年3月，鸿德堂被列为上海市保护建筑。
